Mid March already, and our snow is finally melting and we can even see patches of earth, muddy as it is. This is most welcome to all of us who have endured four and one half months of winter's cold and snow. Especially welcome is the warm weather to us who face the challenge of MS and getting around on the snow and ice.
This body continues to be better then before the stem cell treatment on October 25th, 2006. That is a welcome outcome for me, and for this body. Even though the improvements have been small, the fact that the body is not progressing downwards as before, is the best. This will provide more time for the research people to develope new products, or enhance the ones now used, and one day soon, a cure??? We can hope and pray for that, and I surely well be doing both.
I am feeling good enough now to venture a three (3) month adventure in Mexico. Although I cannot walk without using support canes, or a walker, the urge to move on with my life is calling. I will be leaving my home here in Washington State, driving to Mexico, on March 27th with a planned arrival date of March 29th in San Diego. Will visit my daughter and family, Dr. Payne and others before driving into Mexico and a new adventure beginning on April 1st when my friend flies into the Tijuana International Airport from Uganda.
There is very much happening in my life right now, some of which I will share at a later date. For now, just know this is a huge undertaking for a man with a "challenge", but one I am looking forward to. Hope to live in a rental home some 30 miles or so below Tijuana, learn Spanish language, their customs and culture and enjoy being with my friend who is also on a huge adventure. We are looking forward to this time together, the learning process for both of us, and all this new life has to share.
Please stay in touch by e-mail as my computer is traveling with me to continue running my business and connect with my office in Washington. Providing we have good internet, this should be no problem at all and I will continue to be in contact with you as you write.
Once Again, in closing, here’s a shameless plug for 2 guys who spend all their time trying to help improve the lot of others:
Dr. Anthony G. Payne and Larry M. Howard have co-authored a book that I would recommend to all, with or without multiple sclerosis, and especially women concerned about osteoporosis: "Health Benefits of Vitamin K2", ISBN # 978-1-59120-184-7. It is available at www.basichealthpub.com, Basic Health Publications, Inc. and also from Larry Howard’s company, Weller Health Vitamins www.wellerhealthvitamins.com It is also being sold through Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, WalMart, Swanson Health Products and a host of others. It is actually the only book on K2 for laypeople on the market! And at $9.95 retail – packed as it is with all kinds of dietary and health goodies -- it’s a bargain.
and of course, my book - below.....
Challenging The Dragon my book on my own life "challenge" – namely "M.S."
Blessings always, and best wishes for a healthy life to all,
Have a Prosperous and healthy Year, take time to have your own adventure, and enjoy each day we are alive, to the fullest, no matter what.
