MY STEM CELL
Experiment

August 1, 2003

Well, I am back home after two weeks in California receiving my stem cell treatment/therapy. As promised, here is the update of what took place.

I am so excited --- all went well. The drive down went well - took two and one half days to drive it, that's not too bad for me. Spent Sunday the 20th with my daughter and family in Carlsbad, then Monday morning (21st) reported in for my first adaptagenic treatment (this treatment lowers the oxygen level in one's blood as though one just climbed Mt. Everest. It aids the system to absorb and circulate the stem cells (simple explanation) ), followed by a consultation with Doctor Steenblock (he does the post pre-treatment and post-treatment stateside and Dr. Fernando Ramirez does the actual SCT itself in Mexico), then back at 3pm for another adaptagenic treatment, followed by a two hour session with the Doctor - he is so very thorough, I am happy I chose to go to his clinic - for many reasons, that being one. He is genuinely concerned about his patients, takes his time with them and is really knowledgeable. And the entire staff is also very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Kevork Der Alexanian (George) is the adaptagenic technologist and he is truly a wonderful man, very compassionate and helpful and caring.

Tuesday, two more adaptagenic sessions, plus blood work-up stuff, then on Wednesday 23rd, the adaptagenic treatment then the drive to Mexico where the stem cells were inserted - half sub-cutaneously just above my navel, the other half by intravenous drip method. Very easy!!! On the way we stopped to pick up the stem cells and that is when I met Dr. Anthony Payne - he is as terrific in person as in emails and phone conversations - most caring and truly concerned with patients and their well being.

Then the drive back to Mission Viejo and another adaptagenic treatment, finished by 7:30pm, in my room by 8pm and slept til 8am - like they told me - I would be tired and sleepy - Thursday the 2 adaptagenic treatments plus an MRI of my brain and Friday 2 more adaptagenic treatments and that was it.... Sleepy? You betcha - I slept 12 hours 3 nights in a row, plus I napped during the adapt treatments.

I then spent Saturday and Sunday with my daughter and family, plus my daughter from Phoenix drove over to visit. Was a nice weekend, during which I did much napping and taking it easy (as recommended). Then Monday I stopped at the clinic on my way home for one more boost of the adaptagenic treatment. I drove a good share of monday and Tuesday and made it home Wed evening (30th).

I have already noticed some changes - first - after not being able to drink water for the past two years - except in very tiny sips - Tuesday evening the 29th, I actually drank 4 ounces of water without sipping or stopping, and again on Wed Morning and again Thursday - that is so exciting for me, and then, #2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, I had so much more energy - also exciting. #3 - friends and family say they notice that my speech is clearer... YIP-PEE

So things are starting to change already - much earlier than they anticipated. Dr. Payne called on Thursday and we went over everything - he is excited as well about the early changes in my system.

I am so happy I made this decision and that I did it. Yup, I am broke, but it is worth it. I definitely would recommend this to all MS people, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Steenblock - he is in this to help people and it showed.
( I would also add - if you decide to do this treatment and are concerned about money - as I was - talk to your friends, your church, your work place, for people want to help and it is good for us to learn to allow others to give, while we learn to receive. Remember how good it felt for you when you helped someone else? Well, please allow others to feel good by helping you - that's a big step for me cuz I am stubborn, independent, and as my friend sez - "hard headed" too. )

we are all on this journey together and helping each other is where it is at.

so for now............
Peace, Joy, Love, Compassion
Jim
